Welcome to Achieve Fitness Studios. We’re a small, friendly group of personal trainers based at Darley Abbey in Derby, and our aim is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
Our trainers run both small group personal training and individual personal training sessions. They can help you focus on your specific exercise and nutrition needs, whether you are looking to lose weight, get fit or just lead a healthier life.

We train clients with all sorts of life circumstances, from those wanting to regain their fitness after having children or a period of ill-health, to those aiming to compete in marathons and triathlons.
No personal training session with us is ever the same as we will introduce you to a variety of exercises while using a wide range of equipment. Not only is this more fun but it also produces better results as your body is constantly being challenged in new ways.

Having worked in the personal training industry for 10 years I decided it was time to open my own personal training studio. I know first hand what a difference having a personal trainer can make as I myself had a trainer when I was 19. It is my desire to push people of all ages and abilities towards achieving there’s goals.
My motivational workouts for my clients are fun, diverse and interesting to keep my clients focused on achieving their personal goals.
I am a Qualified Personal Trainer and passionate about health and fitness. Because we are all unique, I customise exercise programmes based on your needs and objectives. Besides training in the gym, I also provide extensive advice on nutrition and lifestyle to motivate you beyond the gym.
We are all human and sometimes we need a little push to help you on your way. I would love to help give that push to unlock your potential.
I have nearly 20 years of training under my belt and I am level 3 in anatomy and physiology of the human body, gym based and personal training. I’m also a level 3 nutritionist, able to look at dietary needs on an individual basis.
With having many years within the gym industry, boxing and boot camps I incorporate lots of tyles of training making each programme unique to the needs of each person.
I am a level 3 personal trainer and ex-airborne engineer in the British army. I always strive to be the best I can be and try to help others to be the best version of themselves, physically and mentally.
All sessions will be personalised to your needs and capabilities but to also push you out of you comfort zone. So let me help you with a fun, challenging and motivational session to help you achieve your goals.
10 one-to-one personal trainer sessions
Whatever your goals are our trainers can help. We will tailor each session specifically to your needs and ensure that it’s at a level that is manageable for you while still being challenging enough to be of benefit.
10 group trainer sessions
If you’re looking for a gentle introduction to personal training, a boost to your current routine or just prefer to train in a group environment, then our small group personal training sessions could be for you.
I’m Amanda, soon to be 40. My weight journey started a long time ago at well over 19 stone. By January 2013 I’d started to put the weight I’d lost back on. I was 14 stone 7lbs when I started training with Dale. Three sessions a week and I’m now 7lbs off goal weight. I’m fitter than I’ve ever been and my life has changed significantly. I would never have even considered completing the Three Peaks challenge if I hadn’t trained with Dale. The sessions are hard work but I can honestly say I never thought I’d actually enjoy exercising. I wouldn’t be where I am with my fitness levels or weight loss if I’d just joined a gym and let’s face it pay the money but never go!

During the past 18 months I have had two Personal Training sessions a week with Dale. At the start I had no muscle definition or shape and my waist had increased to 38in. I have found that Dale is a great motivator, always delivering varied exciting sessions with an aim to achieve my personal goals. Having followed a tailored diet plan my waist has reduced to 32in, and my shape has improved by increasing muscle definition.
